【素材説明】

「ReTA BASE/リタベース」は、使用済みストレッチフィルムを回収し、国内でペレット生産から製織、縫製までの全工程を行うプロジェクトです。このプロジェクトの素材は、900デニールのポリエチレン製であり、現時点では生地表と裏のコーティングに15％の再生ペレットで構成されています。これらの再生ペレットは、一般的に廃棄されることが多い使用済みのストレッチフィルムを回収し、仕分けや洗浄を経て生産されます。

「ReTA BASE/リタベース」素材は、優れた引張り強度と引き裂き強度を持ち、軽量かつ耐久性に優れています。また、生地表と裏に施されたコーティング加工により、耐水圧も7,000mmに達し、高い防水性を実現しています。

【Material Description】

ReTA BASE” is a project that collects used stretch film and carries out the entire process from pellet production to weaving and sewing in Japan. The material for this project is made of 900 denier polyethylene and at this time consists of 15% recycled pellets for the fabric front and back coatings. These recycled pellets are produced by collecting used stretch film, which is generally discarded, sorted and cleaned.

The ReTA BASE material has excellent tensile and tear strength, and is lightweight and durable. The coating process applied to the front and back of the fabric also makes it highly waterproof, with a water pressure resistance of 7,000 mm.
